The Farmers Dilemma
An old farmer died, leaving 3 sons behind to share in his last will and testament.
The farmer had a flock of 18 sheep and left instructions for them to be shared out
as follows:His oldest son was to receive one half of the sheep.
His middle son was to receive one third of the sheep.
And his youngest son was to receive one ninth of the sheep.Unfortunately on the day of the funeral one of the sheep died leaving 17 in the flock.
How do they share out the sheep according to their fathers wishes?
(you are not allowed to cut them up)
