You can't change me

People try to run my life,
People tell me what to do.
I don't live my life how others want,
It isn't up to you.

I may be different, I may be weird,
But that's the way I am.
I'm capable now to live my own life,
Otherwise, I'm just not Sam.

So, I'm clumsy and a bit of a flirt,
But that's the way I like to be.
I'd hate to change 'cos of other people,
I only want to be me.

Why's it so hard to understand,
I can't be changed to normality.
Just because I don't fit in,
It doesn't mean I can't be me.
