Rainbow Isle

Rainbow Isle is a magical place,
You can't see it all the time.
Only when the pouring rain,
Is mixed with the bright sunshine.
On there, a team of little naibors,
Under God's watchful eye.
Who, when the weather decrees them,
Illuminate the sky.
Mr Scarlet has his turn first,
With his pot of bright red paint.

Then orange from Madame Naranja,
Augmenting the sky's colourful state.

Colonel Mustard is next to add,
His bucket of sunshine drink.

Closely followed by doctor Emerald,
Who completes his vital link.

Lady Azure comes next in line,
As the naibors' work takes shape.

The penultimate addition to the spectrum,
Mr Indigo in his dark blue cape.

And last but by no means least,
Miss Violet throws in her pot.

All the colours are in now,
For the naibors that's the lot.
So next time you see a rainbow,
On a rainy, sunshiney day.
Spare a thought for those little naibors,
Working so hard to bring it your way.
