Happy! Who has ever truly been happy?
Has he? Have you?
Definitely not me! Happiness avoids and only comes to few

If he ever comes
He stays only for a while
Leaving only sorrow
That wipes that once held smile

Grasp and hold all you like
You will never succeed!
Because happiness is twisted
Sowing its destructive seeds

You want more
You search to find
But happiness just laughs
And plays upon your mind

Nobody can help this
No, not even Love
Because like happiness
It will always rise above

So just remember
When next you smile
To savour, to share
But to forget when it turns vile
