Solitude

Some folks walk and whisper to themselves
at one with their nature, makes me laugh
false and believing it, maybe it counts
Maybe it's bullshit and helps the mind starve
I find my peace wherever I can
in a lounge full of people and white noise
in a bed of two, lonely for one
in a troop of Scouts, well girls will be boys
Some, they say they don't give a fuck
happy in look and voice and stand
Only in fantastic worlds or dreams
The places where marriage is banned
Solitude a statement of choice
take it or leave it don't talk the talk
Live in yourself and believe that you can
Alone at last, and enjoy the walk
